A SAL update – or rather, no update!

I’m afraid I’m ‘passing’ this time round in the SAL – lets hope for some progress next time!

This poor project….

I’m afraid I have nothing new to share this time with the Anne’s Orchard Clutch. I’ve come to the realisation I have too many projects and things on the go at the moment to be able to juggle any particularly well. So with that is an early new year’s resolution to not have six or seven projects on the go at once…

In case you have forgotten, here is where I was, and am currently, still at with this project. Fingers crossed I find some time to work on it before the next check in!

Join the others!

I’m sure the others have been much more focused and productive than I have so do take the time visit everyone. There is always so much to see, and is a great and lovely time catching up with everyone. If you would like to join, please get in touch with Avis, and she will give you all the details.

Avis, Claire, Gun, Carole, LucyAnn, Kate, Jess, Sue, Constanze, Debbierose, Christina, Kathy, Margaret, Cindy, Helen, Steph, Linda, HeidiJackie, Sunny, Hayley, Tony, Megan, Deborah, Connie and Clare

See you in three weeks for the next SAL update. And hopefully some progress on this piece!

As I recall, you are trying to complete several UFO’s, so really any progress on any one of them qualifies as progress! I found a lost piece of cross stitch yesterday, and now I think I need to do something with it while I wait for my fabric to arrive. Now that I’ve noticed it I feel like I must do something with it…😒. Just remember stitching anything is progress, even if it’s not this particular piece!

You are always so encouraging Kathy! I do feel like I have bitten off more than I can chew this time though with all this juggling going on! How lovely that you have found a long lost piece. I’m sure you will enjoy stitching it again!

It’s lovely to see you popping into the SAL and linking to all of us anyway. Don’t worry about not making progress on this particular project. All in good time 🙂

Life is like that sometimes. I hope you get the headspace and time to get back to it!

Yes it certainly is Rachel, and I seem to have had one of those years. Maybe next year will be more profitable!

Ha ha, made me smile Catherine. I know just what you mean with too many projects and too little time. It is just something new always catches the eye!

Yes, something new, something more appealing at the time! Oh for more hours in the day!

No worries! We all need a pass at one time or another. And it’s not like we’re going to punish you or anything! We’ll just hold our collective breath while we wait to see what wonderfulness you’ve created the next time around. 😉

I know what you mean about to many projects going. I use to do that and it would drive me crazy. Now I only have 1 or 2 going and it seems to work much better.

    Your project looks great.
