Nicola Jarvis Crewelwork Birds Stitch-a-Long

Additional tips and tricks to help you work your own Nicola Jarvis Crewelwork Bird!

Like a lot of embroiderers, I fell in love with Nicola Jarvis’ crewelwork birds.

If you would like to know more about the kits and my experience stitching them up, you can find all the information here

How I can help you with your own 'Nicola Crewelwork Bird'

As I mentioned in my review of the kit, Nicola’s kit instructions are aimed at those with a reasonable embroidery knowledge and understanding. I hesitated for some time before taking the plunge and actually stitching one up!

But, as I have said, I don’t believe these kits should just be for those with more experience. To help you stitch up your ‘own bird’, I ran a stitch-a-long. I’ve since decided to make those additional instructions widely available. If you would like to join the Facebook group to share your progress and get help, do let me know.

The below buttons will take you through to the a link where you can download the instructions. I will update these as I work through my kits, which will help to make it a little more seamless for you.

Can I help you in any other way?

If you have any questions, or would just like a chat about your crewelwork bird, feel free to contact me using the form below. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!

A Little About Me

I’m Catherine of Hillview Embroidery. I’m a passionate embroiderer who has been stitching on and off for about thirty years (oh my!).

A couple of years ago I started taking my embroidery seriously, and I started the RSN’s Certificate in Hand Embroidery. I’ve now completed the Certificate, and love to share with you my journey of stitching – sharing and teaching each step of the way.

You can read more about my story, and I do hope to have you join alongon my journey.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
