I have designed a piece sympathetic to traditional crewelwork. The piece is worked using Appeltons crewel wool, and with a variety of different stitches traditionally seen on Jacobean crewelwork.

At last! I have finished mounting the Jacobean piece for the first module at the RSN!
I’m part way through mounting my Jacobean crewelwork piece as part of the RSN Certificate. It hasn’t all be smooth sailing, but I’m glad for it!
The finishing touches have been made, and it is just the mounting that I need to do to complete my first piece as part of the RSN Certificate.
I’ve now completed six lessons of my Jacobean Piece as part of the RSN Certificate – lots of decisions, and some opinions would be appreciated!
